What was the kid thinking?

Relevant news article: Class III kid's stunt action turns fatal

For those who didn't read the article, an 8 yr old kid borrowed a scarf from a girl student, tied one end around his neck, and the other on a branch(??) and jumped; and died!

It wasn't a planned suicide. Come on, he's 8 years old. What worry did he have??
Apparently it was a stunt he was performing, and he had called all his friends to watch him do it. Now, what I ask myself is, which stunt was he trying to do?? I don't remember seeing any ads with a similar stunt or anything of that sort. How big was the scarf, that he was able to tie it around a tree and his neck?? How tall was he that he could reach a branch of a tree high enough to hang himself to death?? Weren't there any seniors around to stop him??

I'm sure most of these questions are running through the parents' minds as well. It is the most unfortunate incident possible, and I truly sympathize with them. May God give them the power to endure this terrible tragedy.

However, suspending the primary wing head teacher is not a solution. Even in my school days, the break time was a break for the teachers as well. Senior students looked after the junior ones.

A tragedy like this one, truly cannot be blamed on anyone. We can only hope that it never happens again, and those that were affected by it, somehow manage to go beyond it.
